hi... love your blog... hehe tried to bake the revel Bars but did not look as beautiful as yours... Anyways... how many cocoa do I need? it was not indicated on the recipe... thanks
Hello! sorry for the late reply.. it's 1 1/2 cup, it was shown on making the chocolate part. You can also use chocolate chips if you want. ^_^
hi there! i tried this and i think i did not make it right but it still tasted amazing. my chocolate part of the bar is still quite watery. when you put it in the saucepan when will you stop? how can you describe the consistency of the chocolate part?
salamat!
You can try to cook the chocolate mixture a little bit more if you want. Just be careful not to burn it. The mixture will not become watery because we're using condensed milk. Consistency is not too thick but not watery either (still pourable and spreadable). Also try to bake your revel bars longer as you may have underbaked it. A simple tip to achieve chewy revel bars is to refrigerate the 'oatmeal mixture' for at least 30mins before baking it. :)
